Description

These Air Fryer Cheeseburger Wraps deliver all the classic burger flavors in a crispy, convenient tortilla, perfect for a quick snack or an easy meal.

1 lb (450g) ground beef (80/20 lean)
4 large (8-10 inch) flour tortillas
4 slices (or 1 cup shredded) cheddar cheese
2 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp yellow mustard
2 tbsp mayonnaise
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
Pinch of smoked paprika (optional)
Cooking spray or high-smoke oil
Optional fillings: shredded lettuce, diced tomato, chopped pickles, cooked turkey bacon, diced onions


Instructions

Step 1: In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain any excess grease thoroughly. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then set aside.
Step 2: While the beef cooks, prepare the burger sauce: in a small bowl, whisk together ketchup, yellow mustard, mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika (if using) until smooth. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
Step 3: Lay one flour tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spread about 1 tablespoon of the prepared burger sauce down the center of the tortilla.
Step 4: Place a quarter of the seasoned ground beef mixture over the sauce, then top with one slice of cheddar cheese. Add any optional fillings like shredded lettuce, diced tomato, chopped pickles, or cooked turkey bacon.
Step 5: To fold the wrap: first, fold the two shorter ends of the tortilla inward over the filling. Then, starting from one of the long sides, roll the tortilla tightly, ensuring all the fillings are securely enclosed. Place seam-side down.
Step 6: Lightly brush or spray the outer surface of the assembled wrap with cooking spray or oil.
Step 7: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
Step 8: Carefully place the assembled wraps in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not touch. You may need to cook in batches.
Step 9: Air fry for 8 minutes.
Step 10: Using tongs, carefully flip each wrap. Continue to air fry for an additional 2-4 minutes, or until the tortillas are golden brown and crispy, and the cheese is fully melted.
Step 11: Allow the wraps to rest in the air fryer basket for 2 minutes before removing. This helps the cheese settle and prevents spills. Serve immediately with extra burger sauce for dipping!

Notes

For extra flavor, lightly toast your tortillas before filling. Don't be afraid to experiment with different cheeses or add-ins like diced jalapeños for a kick!
