Description

Transform humble flour tortillas into a crispy, gooey, garlic-infused delight in your air fryer in under 15 minutes for the ultimate snack or side.

Ingredients

Scale

4 large flour tortillas
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
3-4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano (optional)
Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Step 1: In a small bowl, melt the unsalted butter. Stir in the minced garlic, dried oregano (if using), and red pepper flakes (if using). This creates your flavorful garlic butter.
Step 2: Lay one flour tortilla flat on a clean surface. Brush a thin layer of the garlic butter evenly over the entire surface of the tortilla.
Step 3: Sprinkle about half of the shredded mozzarella and half of the grated Parmesan cheese over the buttered tortilla. Place a second tortilla on top, press gently, and brush the top of this tortilla with garlic butter. Repeat the cheese sprinkling process.
Step 4: Cut the stacked, cheesy tortillas into 8-12 wedges (like a pizza). Carefully place the wedges in a single layer in your air fryer basket. You may need to cook in batches.
Step 5: Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 5-8 minutes, or until the tortillas are golden brown and crispy, and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Step 6: Remove from the air fryer, garnish with fresh chopped parsley if desired, and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For an extra kick, add a dash of garlic powder to the butter mixture. Serve with marinara sauce for dipping!
