Description
These Air Fryer Cherry Cheesecake Egg Rolls combine creamy cherry cheesecake filling with a crispy air-fried shell for a delightfully easy and portable dessert.
Ingredients
8 egg roll wrappers
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup cherry pie filling
1/4 cup chopped nuts (e.g., almonds, walnuts)
1/4 cup granola
Fresh cherries (optional, for garnish)
Powdered sugar (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
Step 1: In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and cherry pie filling. Mix thoroughly until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
Step 2: Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean, dry surface in a diamond shape. Place about 1-2 tablespoons of the cream cheese and cherry mixture near the bottom corner. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in the side corners. Roll tightly upwards to form a snug egg roll. Seal the edge with a dab of water.
Step 3: Lightly spray the assembled egg rolls with cooking spray. Arrange them in a single layer in your air fryer basket, ensuring not to overcrowd. Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, or until golden brown and crispy.
Step 4: Carefully remove the hot egg rolls from the air fryer. Garnish with chopped nuts, granola, fresh cherries, and a dusting of powdered sugar, if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
For best results, make sure the cream cheese is fully softened. Don't overfill the wrappers, and cook in batches to ensure even crisping in the air fryer.
