Instructions
- Prepare the Skewers: If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning during cooking.
- Make the Marinade: In a large mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to form a marinade.
- Marinate the Chicken: Add the cubed chicken to the marinade, tossing to coat evenly. Cover and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
- Assemble the Skewers: Thread the marinated chicken onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece for even cooking.
- Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Cook the Skewers: Place the chicken skewers in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and has a golden-brown exterior. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (75°C).
- Garnish and Serve: Once cooked, remove the skewers from the air fryer and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce or over a bed of salad or rice.
