- 4 cube steaks
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 onion, sliced (sauce)
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup (sauce)
- 1/2 cup milk (sauce)
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (toppings)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (toppings)
- Fresh parsley (optional garnish)
- Red pepper flakes (optional garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine flour, salt, and black pepper. Dredge cube steaks in flour mixture.
- Heat vegetable oil in skillet over medium heat. Cook steaks 3-4 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In same skillet, cook sliced onion until softened.
- Stir in cream of mushroom soup and milk. Simmer 5-7 minutes.
- Return steaks to skillet, coat with sauce, and simmer 5 more minutes.
- Garnish steaks with chopped parsley, Parmesan cheese, fresh parsley, and red pepper flakes if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!
