Description

Crispy buttery crackers filled with deli ham, turkey, and Swiss cheese, topped with a savory-sweet poppy seed glaze.

Ingredients

Scale

1/2 lb. deli turkey
1/2 lb. deli honey ham
1/4 lb. Swiss cheese slices
6 TBS. butter, melted
2 TBS. brown sugar
1 TBS. Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp. dijon mustard
1 tsp. onion powder
1 TBS. poppy seeds
1 sleeve buttery round crackers

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2: Arrange half of the crackers on the sheet as bottom bases.
Step 3: Layer small pieces of turkey, ham, and a square of Swiss cheese on each base.
Step 4: Place the remaining crackers on top to complete the sandwiches.
Step 5: Whisk together melted butter, brown sugar, Worcestershire, mustard, onion powder, and poppy seeds.
Step 6: Brush the glaze generously over the top of each sandwich.
Step 7: Bake for 10-12 minutes until cheese is melted and crackers are golden.

Notes

Use honey ham for a better sweet-savory balance. Ensure the cheese is cut slightly smaller than the cracker to prevent excessive dripping.
