A decadent fusion of fudgy chocolate brownies and creamy, classic banana pudding with vanilla wafers.
Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 cups granulated sugar
4 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 cup Dutch-process cocoa powder
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 packages (3.4 oz each) instant vanilla pudding mix
3 cups whole milk
14 oz sweetened condensed milk
4 ripe bananas, sliced
1 box vanilla wafers
2 cups heavy cream, whipped
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
Step 2: Whisk together melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Stir in cocoa and flour until combined.
Step 3: Pour batter into the pan and bake for 25-30 minutes. Let cool completely.
Step 4: Whisk pudding mix with milk and sweetened condensed milk; chill for 15 minutes.
Step 5: Layer sliced bananas over the cooled brownie base, then spread the pudding mixture over the bananas.
Step 6: Top with vanilla wafers and whipped cream. Chill for 4 hours before serving.
Notes
Ensure the brownie base is completely cold before adding bananas to prevent them from becoming mushy.
