Description

A soft, chewy cookie bursting with fresh blueberries and a hint of vanilla.


Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups fresh blueberries


Instructions

Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
Step 2: Cream butter and both sugars until light and fluffy.
Step 3: Beat in egg and vanilla.
Step 4: Mix in flour, baking soda, and salt until just combined.
Step 5: Gently fold in the fresh blueberries by hand.
Step 6: Drop spoonfuls of dough onto sheets and bake for 10-12 minutes.
Step 7: Cool on the pan for 5 minutes before moving to a wire rack.

Notes

Use fresh berries for best texture; if using frozen, do not thaw.
