Boozy Jello Candy Melts

Description

A fun and easy recipe for colorful, bite-sized Jello treats topped with a sweet candy shell, perfect for adult parties and celebrations.


Ingredients

Scale

1 box (3 oz) flavored Jello (your choice of flavor)
1 cup boiling water
1/2 cup cold water
1/2 cup desired alcohol (vodka, rum, etc.)
1 cup candy melts (any color or flavor)
1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for smoothness)


Instructions

Step 1: In a medium bowl, combine the Jello powder with 1 cup of boiling water. Stir continuously until the Jello powder is completely dissolved.
Step 2: Once dissolved, stir in 1/2 cup of cold water and 1/2 cup of your chosen alcohol. Set aside to cool to room temperature.
Step 3: While the Jello cools, melt the candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. If too thick, add 1 tablespoon coconut oil.
Step 4: Once the Jello mixture has cooled, carefully pour it into small silicone molds, filling each cavity about halfway.
Step 5: Carefully pour a small amount of the melted candy melts on top of the Jello in each mold, ensuring it covers the Jello completely.
Step 6: Refrigerate the molds for at least 2-3 hours, or until both the Jello and candy melts are fully set.
Step 7: Gently remove the Boozy Jello Candy Melts from the molds. Serve chilled for the best taste and texture.

Notes

For extra flair, try using different Jello and candy melt color combinations to match your party theme. Ensure Jello is completely cool before adding candy melts for distinct, non-mixed layers.
