Ingredients
1.5 lbs cod fillets
1 cup crushed Ritz crackers
4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp dried parsley
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F and grease a 9x13 baking dish.
Step 2: Pat cod fillets dry and season with salt and pepper.
Step 3: Place fillets in the baking dish in a single layer.
Step 4: Mix crushed crackers, garlic powder, paprika, and parsley in a bowl.
Step 5: Stir in melted butter and lemon juice until crumbs are moistened.
Step 6: Press the cracker mixture firmly onto the top of each fillet.
Step 7: Bake for 15-20 minutes until fish is flaky and topping is golden brown.
Notes
Ensure the fish is patted dry to prevent a soggy crust.
