An incredibly moist and aromatic banana bread infused with the smoky, sweet notes of premium bourbon.
Ingredients
3 large overripe bananas
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
3/4 cup dark brown sugar
1 large egg
1/4 cup bourbon whiskey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9x5 loaf pan.
Step 2: Mash bananas in a large bowl and stir in melted butter and sugar.
Step 3: Add the egg, bourbon, and vanilla, whisking until combined.
Step 4: Fold in flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt until just combined.
Step 5: Pour batter into the pan and bake for 55-65 minutes.
Step 6: Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then move to a wire rack.
