Description
A creamy, tangy, and slightly sweet burger sauce recipe that mimics the best restaurant 'special sauces.' Perfect for burgers, fries, and sandwiches.
Ingredients
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon yellow mustard
2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon white vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Step 1: In a small mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, ketchup, and yellow mustard. Whisk until the base is smooth and the color is consistent.
Step 2: Stir in the sweet pickle relish and white vinegar. Ensure the relish is evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
Step 3: Add the garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Whisk vigorously to break up any spice clumps and fully incorporate them into the burger sauce recipe.
Step 4: Taste the sauce and add salt and pepper as needed. For the best flavor, transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
Store in the refrigerator for up to 7 days. If the sauce thickens too much, stir in a tiny splash of water or pickle juice.
