Description
A quick and easy 2-ingredient dough stuffed with molten mozzarella and finished with a rich garlic butter glaze.
Ingredients
200g self raising flour
7 tbsp Greek yogurt
1 tbsp garlic powder (for dough)
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
3 tbsp softened butter
1 tsp garlic powder (for glaze)
Instructions
Step 1: Mix the self-raising flour, 1 tbsp garlic powder, and Greek yogurt in a bowl until a dough forms.
Step 2: Knead the dough on a floured surface for 3 minutes until smooth.
Step 3: Divide into 4 balls and roll each into a flat circle.
Step 4: Place mozzarella in the center of each circle and fold the edges over to seal.
Step 5: Gently roll the stuffed ball flat again into a pitta shape.
Step 6: Cook in a hot, dry skillet for 2-3 minutes per side until golden and charred.
Step 7: Brush with a mixture of melted butter and 1 tsp garlic powder before serving.
Notes
Ensure the dough is sealed tightly to prevent cheese from leaking. Use full-fat Greek yogurt for the softest texture.
