Description

A simple and delicious 4-ingredient recreation of the iconic Chick-Fil-A breakfast sliders.


Ingredients

12 Southern Style Chicken Bites (pre-cooked or frozen)
1/4 cup Honey
4 tablespoons Butter
12 Texas Roadhouse Mini Rolls (frozen or fresh)


Instructions

Step 1: Follow instructions to cook rolls. I cooked these about 3 minutes less than the recommended minimum time (to keep them soft).
Step 2: Cook the chicken according to package directions until fully cooked and crispy.
Step 3: Once both the rolls and chicken are cooked, gently slice the rolls down the center, leaving them attached on one side like a hotdog bun.
Step 4: Insert a piece of chicken into each roll and place them on an oven safe tray or reuse the bread tin.
Step 5: In a microwaveable bowl, melt the butter. Add a generous amount of honey and mix well.
Step 6: Paint the honey butter mixture onto the rolls using a pastry brush.
Step 7: Place the rolls back into the oven for about 2 minutes to warm through. Serve and enjoy.

Notes

Use high-quality yeast rolls for the best texture. Salted butter helps balance the sweetness of the honey.
