Description
A decadent, cheesy French bread loaf stuffed with shredded chicken, crispy bacon, and creamy ranch dressing.
Ingredients
1 large French bread loaf
2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded
6 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup ranch dressing
2 tbsp cream cheese, softened
2 tbsp butter, melted
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp chopped parsley or green onions
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2: Slice the top off the French bread loaf in a rectangular shape and hollow out the center, leaving 1 inch of bread on all sides.
Step 3: In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, chopped bacon, mozzarella, cheddar, ranch dressing, and softened cream cheese.
Step 4: Pack the chicken mixture into the hollowed bread loaf, pressing down firmly to fill the space.
Step 5: Stir the garlic powder into the melted butter and brush it over the exterior of the loaf.
Step 6: Bake for 15-20 minutes until the bread is crispy and the cheese has completely melted.
Step 7: Sprinkle with fresh parsley or green onions, slice into thick pieces, and serve immediately.
Notes
Using rotisserie chicken saves time and adds great flavor to the stuffing.
