Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 2 cups egg noodles, uncooked
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large pot, bring water to a boil and cook egg noodles according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine cooked chicken, noodles, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, chicken broth, mixed vegetables, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Transfer mixture to a greased 9x13-inch baking dish and spread evenly.
  5. Top with shredded cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs if using.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 10–15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Customize with added veggies like broccoli or bell peppers. For a healthier version, substitute sour cream with Greek yogurt. Freeze before baking for a convenient make-ahead meal.
