Description

A quick and easy recipe for a flavorful sandwich packed with diced chicken, crispy bacon, creamy ranch, fresh lettuce, and juicy tomatoes, all served on a toasted bun.


Ingredients

1 lb chicken breasts, diced
4 slices bacon
½ cup ranch dressing
1 cup shredded lettuce
½ cup diced tomatoes
4 sandwich buns or rolls
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil


Instructions

Step 1: Cook the bacon. In a large skillet, cook the 4 slices of bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove from pan, drain on paper towels, and once cooled, crumble into small pieces. Set aside.
Step 2: Cook the chicken. In the same skillet (draining most of the bacon fat if preferred), heat 1 tablespoon olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the diced chicken breasts, season with salt and pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until chicken is golden brown and cooked through. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Step 3: Chop and combine filling. Transfer the cooked chicken to a cutting board and chop into smaller, bite-sized pieces. In a medium bowl, combine the chopped chicken and crumbled bacon. Add the ½ cup ranch dressing and mix well until everything is evenly coated.
Step 4: Prepare the vegetables. Shred the lettuce and dice the tomatoes. Have them ready for assembly.
Step 5: Toast the buns. Lightly toast the sandwich buns or rolls in a dry skillet, toaster, or under the broiler until golden brown.
Step 6: Assemble the sandwiches. On each toasted bun, layer a generous amount of the chicken bacon ranch mixture. Top with shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes. Close the sandwich.
