Description
These vibrant and fun Jello candy melts combine a sweet candy shell with a boozy Jello interior, making them an irresistible treat for any adult gathering or party.
Ingredients
1 box (3 oz) flavored Jello (your choice of flavor)
1 cup boiling water
1 cup cold vodka (or other clear spirit)
1 cup candy melts (any color)
1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for thinning candy melts)
Instructions
Step 1: Dissolve the Jello powder in 1 cup of boiling water in a heat-safe bowl, stirring until completely dissolved. Add 1 cup of cold vodka and stir to combine. Set aside to cool to room temperature.
Step 2: While the Jello cools, melt the candy melts. Place them in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth. If too thick, stir in 1 tablespoon of coconut oil until desired consistency.
Step 3: Once the Jello mixture is cool, carefully pour it into small silicone molds, filling each cavity about halfway.
Step 4: Gently spoon or pour a thin layer of the melted candy melts over the Jello in each mold, ensuring the Jello is fully covered.
Step 5: Transfer the filled molds to the refrigerator and chill for at least 2-3 hours, or until the Jello and candy melts are fully set and firm.
Step 6: Once firm, carefully pop the Boozy Jello Candy Melts out of their molds. Serve chilled and enjoy responsibly!
Notes
For best results, ensure Jello is completely cooled before adding candy melts to prevent mixing. Experiment with different Jello and candy melt flavor combinations to customize!
