Description
A safe-to-eat, eggless dessert dip that tastes exactly like chocolate chip cookie dough.
Ingredients
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour (heat-treated)
Instructions
Step 1: Heat-treat the flour by microwaving it in a bowl for 60 seconds (stirring halfway) or baking at 350°F for 5 minutes to ensure it is safe to eat.
Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened cream cheese and butter until smooth and fluffy.
Step 3: Add the powdered sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, and salt, and beat until well combined.
Step 4: Stir in the heat-treated flour until just incorporated.
Step 5: Fold in the mini chocolate chips using a spatula.
Step 6: Serve immediately with graham crackers, fruit, or pretzels.
Notes
Always ensure your flour is heat-treated to 160°F before adding it to the dip to eliminate any bacteria.
