Description
A 5-ingredient, no-bake recipe that perfectly recreates the chewy, chocolatey, and crunchy texture of the classic childhood snack.
Ingredients
1 (11oz) bag Kraft Caramels (unwrapped)
3 Tbsp milk
½ cup Jif Creamy Peanut Butter
1 cup Hershey's Milk Chocolate Chips
3 cups Kellogg's Rice Krispies cereal
Instructions
Step 1: Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
Step 2: In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the caramels and milk. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring until completely smooth.
Step 3: Stir the peanut butter and chocolate chips into the warm caramel until fully melted and combined.
Step 4: Fold in the Rice Krispies cereal until evenly coated.
Step 5: Scoop mounds of the mixture onto the baking sheet and flatten slightly.
Step 6: Let set at room temperature for 1 hour or refrigerate for 20 minutes before serving.
Notes
Ensure your cereal is fresh for the best crunch. Do not overheat the caramel or it will become too hard when set.
