Description
Juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned sirloin steak bites that taste just like the famous Texas Roadhouse appetizer.
Ingredients
1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch bite-sized pieces
1/4 cup olive oil, divided
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
Step 1: Take the steak out of the fridge 20 minutes before prep to reach room temperature.
Step 2: Cut the sirloin into uniform 1-inch cubes and pat them dry with a paper towel.
Step 3: In a bowl, combine the steak bites with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and paprika. Toss to coat.
Step 4: Heat the remaining olive oil in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
Step 5: Add steak bites in a single layer, ensuring they do not touch. Sear for 2 minutes undisturbed.
Step 6: Flip the steak bites and cook for another 1-2 minutes until your desired level of doneness is reached.
Step 7: Remove from heat, let rest for 3 minutes, and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Use a cast iron skillet for the best crust. Ensure the meat is room temperature before cooking to avoid toughness.
