Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
- 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 8 oz spaghetti (uncooked)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Optional: chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken: Place the boneless, skinless chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot.
- Mix the Sauces: In a separate bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, softened cream cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
- Pour the Sauce Over Chicken: Pour the creamy mixture over the chicken in the crockpot, ensuring the chicken is well coated.
- Cook: Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and easily shreds with a fork.
- Shred the Chicken: Once cooked, remove the chicken from the crockpot and shred it using two forks. Return the shredded chicken to the crockpot and stir to combine with the sauce.
- Add Spaghetti: Break the uncooked spaghetti in half and add it to the crockpot. Stir to ensure the spaghetti is submerged in the sauce. Cover and cook on high for an additional 30-40 minutes, or until the spaghetti is tender.
- Add Cheese: Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and shredded mozzarella cheese until melted and well combined.
- Serve: Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired. Enjoy your creamy chicken spaghetti!
Notes
Vegetable Additions: Add diced bell peppers, onions, or spinach for extra nutrition and flavor. Different Pasta: Use any pasta shape you prefer, such as penne or rotini. Adjust cooking time as necessary. Spicy Kick: Add red pepper flakes or diced jalapeños for a spicy version of this dish. Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. Freezing: You can freeze the chicken spaghetti for up to 2 months. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator before reheating. Reheating: Reheat in the microwave or on the stovetop, adding a splash of chicken broth or water to loosen the sauce if needed.
