Description
A nostalgic and refreshing dessert salad featuring crisp red and green grapes folded into a sweet cream cheese and sour cream dressing.
Ingredients
2 lbs red seedless grapes, washed and dried
2 lbs green seedless grapes, washed and dried
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup chopped pecans
2 tbsp brown sugar
Instructions
Step 1: Wash and thoroughly dry all grapes, removing them from the stems.
Step 2: In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to blend softened cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
Step 3: Gently fold the dry grapes into the cream cheese mixture until fully coated.
Step 4: Refrigerate the salad for at least 2 hours to allow the dressing to set.
Step 5: Just before serving, sprinkle the top with chopped pecans and brown sugar.
Notes
Ensure grapes are bone-dry before mixing to prevent the dressing from thinning out. Toasting the pecans adds extra depth.
