Ingredients
1.5 lbs chicken thighs, boneless/skinless
1 cup long-grain white rice
2.5 cups chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
1 medium yellow onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Step 1: Season the chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, and thyme.
Step 2: Sear chicken in olive oil and butter in a large skillet until golden; remove and set aside.
Step 3: Sauté onions and garlic in the same skillet until translucent.
Step 4: Add rice to the skillet and toast for 2 minutes.
Step 5: Add broth, return chicken to pan, and simmer covered for 20 minutes.
Step 6: Stir in heavy cream and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Ensure rice is rinsed to prevent stickiness. Use low-sodium broth to control salt levels.
