Description
A rich, cheesy, and hearty pasta dish featuring ground beef and bowtie pasta in a velvety Velveeta and cream cheese sauce.
Ingredients
1 lb lean ground beef
16 oz bowtie (farfalle) pasta
16 oz Velveeta cheese, cut into cubes
8 oz cream cheese, softened
10.5 oz can cream of chicken soup
10 oz can Rotel diced tomatoes with green chilies
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
Step 1: Boil the bowtie pasta in salted water until al dente, drain, and set aside.
Step 2: Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat and drain the excess fat.
Step 3: Add the garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper to the beef, then stir in the Velveeta, cream cheese, and cream of chicken soup.
Step 4: Add the Rotel (with juice) and stir until the cheese is completely melted and the sauce is smooth.
Step 5: Combine the cooked pasta with the beef and cheese sauce, tossing well to coat every bowtie.
Step 6: Serve warm and enjoy the creamy goodness!
Notes
For a thinner sauce, add a splash of milk or pasta water. Use lean beef to reduce the grease content.
