Ingredients
4 cod fillets (approx. 6 oz each)
1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 large egg
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
Olive oil spray
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
Step 2: Pat the cod fillets very dry with paper towels to ensure the breading adheres properly.
Step 3: Set up three bowls: flour in the first, beaten egg in the second, and Panko mixed with spices in the third.
Step 4: Dredge each fillet in flour, then egg, then the Panko mixture, pressing firmly to coat.
Step 5: Place fillets in the air fryer basket and spray the tops lightly with olive oil.
Step 6: Air fry for 10-12 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 145°F and the crust is golden brown.
Notes
