- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Cooking spray or oil for frying
Instructions
- Cut chicken breasts into bite-sized, uniform pieces.
- Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Coat each chicken piece in flour, then egg, then breadcrumb mixture.
- Air Fryer Method: Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C), arrange nuggets in a single layer, spray lightly with cooking spray, and cook for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Oven Method: Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C), arrange nuggets on a parchment-lined baking sheet, spray with cooking oil, and bake for 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Remove and let cool slightly. Serve with your favorite dipping sauces.
Notes
Add cayenne or hot sauce for spicy nuggets. Use almond flour or pork rinds for a keto version. Add Parmesan to breadcrumbs for extra flavor. Nuggets can be prepped ahead and stored before baking.
