Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Cooking spray or oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Cut chicken breasts into bite-sized, uniform pieces.
  2. Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Coat each chicken piece in flour, then egg, then breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Air Fryer Method: Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C), arrange nuggets in a single layer, spray lightly with cooking spray, and cook for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway.
  5. Oven Method: Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C), arrange nuggets on a parchment-lined baking sheet, spray with cooking oil, and bake for 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway.
  6. Remove and let cool slightly. Serve with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes

Add cayenne or hot sauce for spicy nuggets. Use almond flour or pork rinds for a keto version. Add Parmesan to breadcrumbs for extra flavor. Nuggets can be prepped ahead and stored before baking.
