Description
A gooey, cheesy pepperoni pizza dip made easy in the slow cooker for parties.
Ingredients
16 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
2 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp garlic powder
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1.5 cups pizza sauce
1 cup mini pepperoni slices
Instructions
Step 1: Mix the softened cream cheese, sour cream, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder in a bowl until smooth.
Step 2: Spread the cream cheese mixture into the bottom of a small slow cooker (2-3 quart).
Step 3: Sprinkle 1 cup of mozzarella and 1/4 cup of Parmesan over the cream cheese.
Step 4: Pour the pizza sauce over the cheese layer and spread evenly.
Step 5: Top with the remaining mozzarella, Parmesan, and the pepperoni slices.
Step 6: Cover and cook on low for 2 hours or until the cheese is melted and bubbling.
Step 7: Stir the top layer slightly if desired and serve warm with breadsticks or chips.
Notes
Use a slow cooker liner for easy cleanup. For a supreme version, add cooked peppers and olives.
