Description

A comforting, hearty twist on a classic sandwich—Delicious Philly Cheese Steak Pasta combines tender steak, sautéed peppers and onions, and creamy provolone cheese sauce all tossed with pasta. Ready in under 30 minutes!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta (penne, fettuccine, or your choice)
  • 1 lb flank steak or sirloin, sliced thinly
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper (red or green), sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 cups provolone cheese, shredded (or cheese of your choice)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Bring salted water to a boil and cook pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté Vegetables: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high. Add sliced onions and bell peppers, cook 5 minutes. Add garlic and cook 1 minute more.
  3. Cook Steak: Push veggies to the side, add steak, season with salt and pepper. Cook 3–4 minutes until browned.
  4. Make Sauce: Add beef broth and cream, stir, and simmer 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened. Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheese until melted.
  5. Combine: Add pasta to skillet, toss to coat. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Use leftover steak to save time. Add mushrooms or spinach for extra veggies. Try different cheeses like mozzarella or cheddar. For gluten-free, use gluten-free pasta.
