1 cup heavy whipping cream (very cold)
1 cup chocolate ganache or your favorite chocolate spread (such as Nutella or high-quality melted chocolate)


Instructions

Step 1: Whip the Heavy Cream: In a chilled mixing bowl, pour in the cold heavy whipping cream. Using an electric mixer, start on medium speed and gradually increase to medium-high. Whip until stiff peaks form (about 3-5 minutes). Be careful not to over-whip.
Step 2: Gently Fold in the Chocolate: Add the chocolate ganache or spread to the whipped cream. Using a spatula, gently fold the chocolate into the cream. Start with about half of the whipped cream, mixing until just combined, then add the remaining cream. Continue to fold gently until no streaks of white cream remain, preserving the airy texture.
Step 3: Chill to Perfection: Spoon the light and fluffy mousse into individual serving glasses or a larger serving dish. Cover lightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. This chilling time allows the mousse to set beautifully.
