Description

Ingredients

3 large eggs, room temperature
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)
1 cup heavy whipping cream
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar (for filling)


Instructions

Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F and line a 10x15 inch pan with parchment paper.
Step 2: Beat eggs for 5 minutes, then add granulated sugar and vanilla.
Step 3: Gently fold in the sifted flour, baking powder, and salt.
Step 4: Bake for 10-12 minutes until the cake springs back.
Step 5: Invert the hot cake onto a towel dusted with powdered sugar and roll it up.
Step 6: Whip the cream, cream cheese, and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
Step 7: Unroll the cooled cake, spread with filling, and re-roll tightly.
