Description
These delightful Cherry Pie Bombs are quick, easy, and bursting with sweet cherry flavor, made from just a few simple ingredients and canned biscuits.
Ingredients
1 can (8-count) Grand biscuits
1 cup cherry pie filling
¼ cup granulated sugar
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet or line with parchment paper.
Step 2: Separate each biscuit and gently flatten into a 4-5 inch round. You can use your hands or a rolling pin.
Step 3: Place 1-2 tablespoons of cherry pie filling in the center of each flattened biscuit.
Step 4: Carefully gather the edges of the biscuit dough over the filling and pinch firmly to seal the bomb completely. Ensure no gaps remain.
Step 5: Place the sealed bombs seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle the tops of each with granulated sugar.
Step 6: Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and puffed. Remove from oven and let cool slightly on the baking sheet before serving.
Notes
For an extra treat, serve these warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of simple powdered sugar glaze.
