Description

An easy and festive no-bake treat, perfect for holiday parties and gifting, made with mini pretzel twists, melted chocolate, and an array of colorful sprinkles, bringing instant holiday cheer.

Ingredients

Scale

1 (10-12 oz) bag mini pretzel twists
1 (12 oz) bag green candy melts or white chocolate chips
Assorted festive sprinkles
Optional: Small star candies for topping

Instructions

Step 1: Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. Set aside.
Step 2: Place candy melts or white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 30 seconds, stir, then continue microwaving in 15-second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth and fully melted. Be careful not to overheat.
Step 3: Dip each mini pretzel twist into the melted chocolate, ensuring it's fully coated. Lift with a fork, gently tapping against the edge of the bowl to remove any excess chocolate.
Step 4: Immediately place the chocolate-coated pretzel on the prepared baking sheet. While the chocolate is still wet, carefully arrange three pretzels to form a small triangle shape, resembling a Christmas tree. One pretzel forms the base, and two meet at the top point. You can overlap them slightly.
Step 5: Immediately after forming each tree, generously sprinkle with festive sprinkles, edible glitter, or place small candies for decoration. If using star candies, place one gently at the top of each tree.
Step 6: Once all trees are formed and decorated, place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes, or until the chocolate is completely set and firm.
Step 7: Carefully remove the Chocolate Pretzel Christmas Trees from the parchment paper. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.

Notes

For best results, work in small batches with the chocolate to ensure it stays warm and easy to work with. If the chocolate starts to thicken, reheat it briefly. These treats are delightful for holiday parties and make wonderful edible gifts!
