Ingredients
2 cups All-Purpose Flour
2 tbsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Dried Oregano
1 tsp Dried Thyme
1 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded
1 cup Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese, shredded
1 cup Buttermilk
1/4 cup Unsalted Butter, melted and cooled
2 large Eggs
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan thoroughly.
Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Step 3: Stir in the garlic powder, oregano, thyme, cheddar cheese, and mozzarella cheese until the cheese is coated in flour.
Step 4: In a separate medium bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, melted butter, and eggs.
Step 5: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and fold gently with a spatula until just combined; do not over-mix.
Step 6: Spoon the batter into the prepared loaf pan and sprinkle the top with Parmesan cheese.
Step 7: Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack before slicing.
Notes
Ensure the butter is cooled before adding to the eggs to prevent scrambling.
