Ingredients
4 pork chops (bone in or out, approx 250g each)
1 teaspoon Sea Salt
1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
8 garlic cloves, peeled and finely chopped
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon butter, melted
1/3 cup honey
2 tablespoons lemon juice or apple vinegar
Instructions
Step 1: Season both sides of the pork chops with sea salt and black pepper after patting them dry.
Step 2: Heat olive oil in a heavy skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chops for 3-5 minutes per side until golden.
Step 3: Lower heat to medium and add the butter and chopped garlic, sautéing for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Step 4: Whisk together honey and lemon juice, then pour into the pan over the pork chops.
Step 5: Baste the chops with the sauce for 2-3 minutes until the glaze is thick and sticky.
Step 6: Let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving to ensure maximum juiciness.
Notes
For the best results, use a cast-iron skillet to achieve a superior crust on the meat.
