6 large eggs
1 cup whole milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 lb deli ham, thinly sliced
1/2 lb deli turkey, thinly sliced
1.5 cups Swiss cheese, shredded
Powdered sugar for dusting
Raspberry preserves for serving
Instructions
Step 1: Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
Step 2: Layer 4 slices of bread at the bottom of the dish, cutting to fit if necessary.
Step 3: Place an even layer of ham and turkey over the bread slices.
Step 4: Sprinkle 3/4 cup of the Swiss cheese over the meat.
Step 5: Top with the remaining 4 slices of bread.
Step 6: Whisk eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon in a bowl until well combined.
Step 7: Pour the egg mixture over the casserole, pressing the bread down to soak.
Step 8: Top with the remaining cheese, cover, and refrigerate for 2 hours or overnight.
Step 9: Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35-45 minutes until golden and set.

Notes
Using brioche bread makes this dish exceptionally rich. For a less sweet version, reduce the cinnamon and vanilla by half.
