Ingredients
8 oz cream cheese, softened
½ cup sweet and spicy pepper jelly
24 mini phyllo pastry shells
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley or green onions
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and place the mini phyllo pastry shells on a baking sheet.
Step 2: Scoop about 1 teaspoon of softened cream cheese into each shell.
Step 3: Top the cream cheese with a small dollop of pepper jelly.
Step 4: Bake for 5-7 minutes until the cheese is warm and the shells are crisp.
Step 5: Garnish with fresh parsley or green onions and serve immediately.
Notes
For the best texture, serve immediately after baking. Experiment with different types of pepper jelly like mango-habanero or jalapeño for variety.
