Description
A savory, pull-apart pizza appetizer made with refrigerated biscuit dough, gooey mozzarella, and spicy pepperoni.
Ingredients
2 cans (16 oz total) refrigerated biscuit dough, cut into quarters
1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup mini pepperoni slices
¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup marinara sauce (for dipping)
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a standard Bundt pan thoroughly.
Step 2: Cut each of the refrigerated biscuits into four equal quarters.
Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes if using.
Step 4: Add the biscuit pieces, mini pepperoni, and mozzarella cheese to the bowl and toss until everything is evenly coated in the garlic butter.
Step 5: Transfer the mixture to the Bundt pan, distributing the pieces evenly, and sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the top.
Step 6: Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until the bread is golden brown and no longer doughy in the center.
Step 7: Let the pan rest for 5 minutes, then carefully invert it onto a plate and serve warm with marinara sauce.
Notes
Use a high-quality non-stick Bundt pan for the best release. If using regular pepperoni, chop it into 1/4 inch pieces.
