Description

Delicious bite-sized pizza rolls with a cheesy stuffed crust, perfect for parties, game nights, or a fun family snack.


Ingredients

2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough sheets (or regular crescent rolls)
6 mozzarella string cheese sticks, cut into 1-inch pieces
1/2 cup mini pepperoni slices
1/4 cup pizza sauce
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese


Instructions

Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2: Unroll each sheet of crescent dough onto a clean surface. If using regular crescent rolls, press the perforations together to form a solid sheet. Cut each sheet into 12 equal squares (for a total of 24 squares).
Step 3: Place one 1-inch piece of mozzarella string cheese near one corner of each dough square. Top with a small spoon of pizza sauce (about 1/4 teaspoon) and a few mini pepperoni slices.
Step 4: Carefully fold the dough over the fillings, sealing the edges completely by pinching them together. Ensure the cheese and fillings are fully enclosed to prevent leakage during baking. Roll gently into a ball or bite-sized cylinder.
Step 5: Arrange the sealed pizza bites on the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between each. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter and garlic powder.
Step 6: Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescent dough is golden brown and puffed up. Once out of the oven, immediately brush the tops of the hot pizza bites with the garlic butter mixture and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
