Description
A 5-minute, no-cook Thai peanut sauce that is creamy, spicy, and perfectly balanced for dipping or dressing.
Ingredients
1/3 cup peanut butter
2 tablespoons tamari (or soy sauce)
2 tablespoons lime juice
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1 tablespoon sriracha
1 inch fresh ginger, minced
1 garlic clove, minced
Instructions
Step 1: Combine the peanut butter, tamari, lime juice, maple syrup, and sriracha in a medium mixing bowl.
Step 2: Add the freshly minced ginger and garlic to the bowl.
Step 3: Whisk the mixture vigorously until all ingredients are fully incorporated and the sauce is smooth.
Step 4: Adjust consistency by adding a teaspoon of warm water if the sauce is too thick.
Step 5: Taste and adjust seasoning, adding more lime for zing or sriracha for heat.
Step 6: Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator for later use.
Notes
Use smooth peanut butter for the best texture. If using natural peanut butter, ensure it is stirred well before measuring.
