Description

A festive, indulgent St. Patrick’s Day dessert combining layers of fudgy brownies, creamy vanilla pudding, whipped cream, and minty candies for a colorful and delicious treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box brownie mix (or homemade brownies)
  • Ingredients required for brownie mix (eggs, oil, water)
  • 1 box instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup green M&M’s (or green candy-coated chocolates)
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped mint chocolate or mint-flavored candies (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare brownies according to package or your favorite recipe; cool completely and cut into small cubes.
  2. Whisk instant vanilla pudding mix with 2 cups milk until thickened (about 2 minutes); chill in fridge.
  3. Whip heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  4. Gently fold whipped cream into chilled pudding to create creamy layer.
  5. In a trifle dish or individual cups, layer brownie cubes evenly at bottom.
  6. Spread a layer of pudding mixture over brownies.
  7. Add a layer of mini marshmallows and green M&M’s or candy-coated chocolates.
  8. Repeat layers until ingredients are used, finishing with a whipped cream layer on top.
  9. Sprinkle chocolate chips, optional chopped mint chocolate, and extra green M&M’s on top.
  10. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow flavors to meld and layers to set.
  11. Serve chilled; garnish with extra chocolate chips or mint leaves if desired.

Notes

Allow brownies to cool completely before cubing to maintain structure. Fold pudding and whipped cream gently to keep airy texture. Use a clear trifle dish for beautiful layered presentation. Refrigerate at least 2 hours or overnight for best flavor melding. Customize toppings with nuts, fresh fruit, or different candies.
