  • Author: Fati
  • Total Time: 1 hour 15 minutes
  • Yield: 12 servings 1x

Description

An indulgent twist on a classic poke cake featuring moist chocolate cake infused with sweetened condensed milk, drizzled caramel, whipped cream, and chunks of Snickers candy for a creamy, crunchy delight.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • Ingredients required for cake mix (eggs, oil, water)
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • ¾ cup caramel sauce, divided
  • 4 Snickers candy bars, chopped
  • 1½ cups heavy whipping cream
  • 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • ¼ cup roasted salted peanuts
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare chocolate cake batter according to box instructions, substituting half the water with brewed coffee if desired.
  3. Pour batter into pan and bake 22–25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs. Let cool 10 minutes.
  4. Use a wooden spoon handle or chopstick to poke 30–40 holes about 1 inch apart, pressing two-thirds down.
  5. Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over warm cake, allowing it to seep into holes.
  6. Drizzle ½ cup caramel sauce in a zigzag pattern over the cake, nudging sauce toward edges.
  7. Scatter chopped Snickers pieces evenly, pressing some into holes; reserve some for garnish.
  8. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour to set.
  9. Chill mixing bowl and whisk attachment 10 minutes. Whip heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  10. Spread whipped cream evenly over chilled cake.
  11. Warm remaining ¼ cup caramel sauce and drizzle thin lines over whipped cream.
  12. Drizzle 2 tablespoons chocolate sauce if desired for marbled effect.
  13. Sprinkle roasted salted peanuts and reserved chopped Snickers bars on top.
  14. Refrigerate 30 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For best results, avoid overpoking to maintain cake structure. Chill whipped cream bowl and whisk for stable peaks. Freeze candy bars briefly before chopping for clean cuts.
