Description
Savory ground beef and melted cheddar cheese encased in a flaky biscuit crust brushed with rich garlic parmesan butter.
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, finely diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
0.5 tbsp grated parmesan cheese (for filling)
2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese (for topping)
1 cup cheddar cheese, freshly grated
1 can (16.3 oz) biscuit dough
2 tbsp melted butter
1 tbsp parsley, finely chopped
0.5 tsp garlic powder
salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2: Brown the ground beef and onion in a skillet until cooked through; drain grease.
Step 3: Stir in minced garlic, salt, pepper, and 0.5 tbsp parmesan; cook 1 minute then remove from heat.
Step 4: Flatten each biscuit into a 4-inch circle.
Step 5: Place a spoonful of beef and a pinch of cheddar in the center of each circle.
Step 6: Pinch edges together to seal and place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
Step 7: Mix melted butter, garlic powder, parsley, and 2 tbsp parmesan; brush over the bombs.
Step 8: Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
For the best cheese pull, use high-quality block cheddar and grate it yourself.
