Description
Bite-sized cheeseburger deliciousness wrapped in flaky biscuit dough, smothered in garlic Parmesan butter, perfect for any occasion!
Ingredients
1 pound ground beef (80/20 recommended)
1 tsp garlic powder (for beef)
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup finely diced pickles (optional)
1 can (16 oz) refrigerated flaky biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp garlic powder (for topping)
1 tsp dried parsley (optional, for topping)
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Break it up with a spoon as it cooks. Drain any excess fat thoroughly.
Step 3: Stir in 1 tsp garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper into the cooked beef. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Step 4: Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese and diced pickles (if using) into the beef mixture. Mix well to combine.
Step 5: Separate the biscuit dough. Gently flatten each biscuit into a roughly 4-inch round disc on a clean surface.
Step 6: Place about 1-2 tablespoons of the beef mixture into the center of each flattened biscuit.
Step 7: Carefully gather the edges of the biscuit dough over the filling and pinch tightly to seal, forming a neat ball. Place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
Step 8: In a small bowl, whisk together the melted unsalted butter, grated Parmesan cheese, the second 1 tsp garlic powder, and dried parsley.
Step 9: Brush the tops and sides of each cheeseburger bomb generously with the garlic Parmesan butter mixture.
Step 10: Bake for 18-22 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
Step 11: Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before serving warm.
Notes
For an extra kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the beef mixture. Ensure the beef mixture is not too hot when adding cheese to prevent it from becoming oily.
