Description

An incredibly easy and cheesy snack featuring golden biscuits wrapped around molten mozzarella, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale

1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
8 sticks mozzarella string cheese, cut in half (or 8 oz block mozzarella, cut into 16 small cubes)
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp dried Italian seasoning
2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
Marinara sauce for dipping (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
Step 2: Separate the refrigerated biscuit dough into individual biscuits. On a lightly floured surface or a piece of parchment paper, gently flatten each biscuit until it's about 3-4 inches in diameter.
Step 3: Place one half of a mozzarella string cheese stick (or 1-2 small mozzarella cubes) in the center of each flattened biscuit.
Step 4: Carefully gather the edges of the biscuit dough around the cheese, bringing them together at the top. Pinch the seams tightly to completely seal the cheese inside.
Step 5: Place the sealed biscuit bombs seam-side down on your prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between each one. In a small bowl, melt the unsalted butter and stir in the garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and grated Parmesan cheese.
Step 6: Brush the melted butter mixture generously over the tops and sides of each biscuit bomb. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and puffed up, and the cheese inside is molten and gooey.
Step 7: Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute or two before serving. These are best enjoyed warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Serve these biscuit bombs immediately for the best gooey cheese experience. They pair wonderfully with marinara sauce or even a creamy Alfredo! To reheat leftovers, use an air fryer or oven for a crispy exterior.
