  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 lb elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh chives
  • Fresh parsley leaves (optional, for garnish)
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Toss steak strips with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder in a bowl.
  2. Heat grill or grill pan over medium-high heat; cook steak strips 2-3 minutes per side until desired doneness. Set aside.
  3. Cook elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  4. In a large pot, combine cooked macaroni, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, heavy cream, and Cajun seasoning; cook over medium heat until cheese melts and mixture is creamy.
  5. Heat olive oil in skillet over medium heat; cook minced garlic 1 minute.
  6. Add halved cherry tomatoes, salt, and black pepper; cook 3-4 minutes until tomatoes soften.
  7. Serve Cajun mac and cheese topped with grilled steak strips and garlic tomato mix.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley, chives, fresh parsley leaves, and grated Parmesan cheese if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

Ensure steak strips are well-seared for best texture and flavor. Serve on elegant platters for added presentation. Substitute sirloin with ribeye or filet mignon for flavor variation. Use low-fat cheese and cream for lighter version. Adjust seasoning to taste.
