Description
A sweet and savory party-perfect slider featuring Hawaiian rolls, melted cheddar, and a garlic-herb butter glaze.
Ingredients
1 pack Hawaiian rolls (12-count)
8–10 cheddar cheese slices
4 tbsp melted butter
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
4 slices turkey bacon, beef bacon, or chicken bacon (optional)
1 tsp dried parsley
1 pinch salt
1 pinch pepper
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13 baking dish.
Step 2: Slice the entire block of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally with a serrated knife.
Step 3: Place the bottom half in the baking dish and layer with cheese and cooked bacon slices if using.
Step 4: Cover with the top half of the rolls.
Step 5: Mix the melted butter with garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, salt, and pepper.
Step 6: Brush the butter mixture over the tops of the rolls.
Step 7: Cover with foil and bake for 10 minutes.
Step 8: Remove foil and bake for another 5-10 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted.
Notes
For extra crunch, sprinkle a little grated parmesan cheese over the butter glaze before baking.
