Ingredients
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined (tails on or off)
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning, divided
2 cloves garlic, minced
Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the shrimp by patting them very dry with paper towels. Lightly sprinkle about 1/2 teaspoon of Old Bay seasoning over the shrimp and toss to coat.
Step 2: Heat a large non-stick or cast iron skillet over medium heat. Add the unsalted butter and let it melt. Once melted, stir in the honey and minced garlic. Cook for about 1 minute until the garlic is fragrant and the sauce is slightly thickened.
Step 3: Add the seasoned shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, flipping once, until the shrimp turn pink and opaque. As they cook, spoon some of the sauce over the shrimp.
Step 4: Remove the skillet from heat. Sprinkle with the remaining Old Bay seasoning (if desired) and fresh chopped parsley. Serve immediately with your favorite sides.
Notes
For extra brightness, squeeze a wedge of fresh lemon juice over the shrimp just before serving. If you prefer more heat, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce along with the garlic.
