Description

A vibrant, satisfying salad featuring crispy fried chicken tossed in a spicy honey glaze over a bed of fresh, crunchy greens.

Ingredients

Scale

1 lb chicken tenders, breaded and fried
6 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup hot sauce (like Frank's RedHot)
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
1 cucumber, sliced
1/4 cup Ranch or Blue Cheese dressing
1 tsp cayenne pepper (optional for extra heat)

Instructions

Step 1: Chop the romaine, tomatoes, cucumber, and onion, then place them in a large salad bowl.
Step 2: In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat and whisk in the honey, hot sauce, and cayenne until smooth.
Step 3: Fry or air-fry the breaded chicken tenders until golden brown and cooked through.
Step 4: Toss the hot chicken tenders in the honey hot sauce until fully coated and glistening.
Step 5: Place the sauced chicken on top of the salad greens and drizzle with your preferred creamy dressing.

Notes

To reduce calories, use grilled chicken breast instead of fried tenders.
