Ingredients
20 Hostess Twinkies
4 large bananas, sliced
1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, drained
1 quart fresh strawberries, sliced
16 oz whipped topping
1 cup chopped pecans
Chocolate syrup for drizzling
Maraschino cherries for garnish
Instructions
Step 1: Slice the Twinkies in half lengthwise and place them cream-side up in a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Step 2: Layer the sliced bananas over the Twinkie halves, covering them completely.
Step 3: Spread the well-drained crushed pineapple over the banana layer.
Step 4: Arrange the sliced strawberries over the pineapple layer.
Step 5: Carefully spread the whipped topping over the strawberry layer until smooth.
Step 6: Sprinkle chopped pecans over the whipped topping.
Step 7: Drizzle with chocolate syrup, add cherries, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
Ensure the pineapple is extremely well-drained to prevent the Twinkies from becoming soggy.
